Non-Vintage by Gloria Ferrer from Sonoma County, California. Number 97 on Wine Spectator Top 100 Wines of 2004! 85% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay. Produced exclusively with hand-picked grapes, this Cuvee was put on the American market for the first time in 1985. It is prepared according to the traditional method. Its bouquet with pear aroma distinguishes it from other sparkling wines and the fruity aroma lends it an initial effervescence which culminates in a lingering, creamy effect.

Non-Vintage by Gloria Ferrer from Carneros, California. A distinctive blend of 92% Pinot and 8% Chardonnay, this light-bodied sparkling wine displays a slight pink color, resulting from a special pressing technique. Bright strawberry and black cherry aromas with subtle vanilla highlights. Creamy cherry, lemon and cola flavors combine with a lush palate, small, lively bubbles and a persistent finish. Our Blanc de Noirs is predominantly made from hand-harvested Pinot Noir grapes, the hallmarks of which are a vibrant red fruit character. The creamy palate and rosy hue are a result of a small addition of Vin Gris, which was blended into the base cuvee. Over forty different clones and selections of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are planted on our 340-acre estate in the Sonoma Carneros district. This allows us to consistently produce cuvees with complexity and clear fruit expression. Fresh bakery aromas of almond and caramel. Sweet and buttery with peach and honey flavors. Non-Vintage by Mumm Napa from Napa Valley, California. This hugely popular, award winning wine offers touches of vanilla and melon, with firm acid and crisp structure. Medium bodied, with excellent mousse and a rich lingering finish, it is equally at home with a plate of iced oysters, fried calamari, chicken or a favorite pasta with a mild sauce. Mature aromas of char, yeast and flint with fruit notes in the background. Beautifully aged flavors of baked apple and flint are seamlessly integrated and deftly delivered. Non-Vintage by Domaine Chandon from California. This wine offers the balance and elegance that has become Chandon's hallmark style. When you taste Brut Classic, look for nutty flavors with hints of brioche that build to a refreshing dry finish. The wine delivers complex apple and pear characteristics accented by citrus spice over notes of almond and caramel in the bouquet.

Non-Vintage by Segura Viudas from Spain. Like a rich Chardonnay with bubbles, this limited production Cava rests on an authentic pewter base and comes in a handsome hand-blown bottle emblazoned with a metal crest of the Segura Viudas family.

Non-Vintage by Domaine Chandon from Carneros, California. This Carneros-designated Blanc de Noirs has a delicate copper color and fruit aromas of strawberry and cherry overlaid with warm cocoa from Pinot Noir. Its softer cousin Pinot Meunier contributes a warm spice, almost clove character with overtones of orange peel and freshly baked bread. To enhance this Cuvee 391, wines from the 1991 vintage were blended with selected 'vin de reserve' held back from previous years. 1991 was characterized by cool conditions during maturation and harvest, critical to flavor development for sparkling wine. Three years of aging lends this wine breadth and body, while retaining its freshness and fruitiness. The balance is stylishly crisp, reflecting the Carneros region's full ripe flavors. Light gold hue. Forward apple and ginger scents show a defined earthiness. Creamy flavors of orange, butternut, pecan and vanilla. Long close is round and smooth. -Wine News

Vintage by Francis Coppola from Napa Valley, California. The 2003 Sofia Blanc de Blancs flaunts aromas of fresh summer peaches, tropical fruit, and juicy pineapple. Hints of pear, melon and creamy lemon unfold on the palate with honeysuckle emerging on the crisp, vibrant finish.

Non-Vintage by Lucien Albrecht from Alsace, France - regions. Lucien Albrecht, Jean's father, pioneered Cremant production in 1971 and helped gain an Appellation Control?e for the wine and for Alsace. The wines vinified by the classic Champagne Method from 100% free run juice, are the best sparkling wines in France outside of Champagne itself. Recently Maison Lucien Albrecht was awarded four gold medals at a comprehensive National I.N.A.O. tasting of all sparkling wines in France, giving the firm more gold medals than any other Cremant producer in France. This Blanc de Blancs is made from 100% Pinot Blanc. The Blanc de Blancs is distinguished by a fine and elegant bead, a beautiful straw color; a light, delicate palate. It is delicious at any time of the day and with many foods. Non-Vintage by Scharffenberger from North Coast, California. Scharffenberger Brut is made by the traditional methode champenoise process - whereby the wines are individually bottle-fermented before being riddled and disgorged. The wine is approximately two-thirds Pinot Noir and one-third Chardonnay and undergoes 100% malolactic fermentation. Scharffenberger Brut is made from its own 120-acre vineyards in the Anderson Valley. In addition, Scharffenberger Cellars has long-term contracts with select vineyards in the greater Mendocino County. This type of vineyard selection allows us to choose from the best vineyards in the area which enables us to produce our trademark cuvee. The wine is two-thirds Pinot Noir which produces a red fruit (cherry and plum) forward nose combined with one-third Chardonnay which adds the tropical expression of litchi nut and mango. The 100% malolactic fermentation adds a vanilla cream character producing a round and full-bodied wine. After approximately two years on the yeast lees, there are notes of freshly baked bread and pastry that enhances the more fruit forward style of the wine. Finally, after several months on the cork the wine develops caramel and hazel complexors. Fresh aromas of butterscotch and croissant with yeasty, bakery notes. Bright peach and apricot flavors with a green apple tartness. Fresh, steely close with a mix of lemon drop and minerals. -Wine News

Non-Vintage by Korbel from California. Chardonnay Champagne captures the flavors of Chardonnay wine and combines it with the fun and sparkle of champagne. This cuvee captures the apple and pear fruit qualities of Chardonnay grapes, and blends in the butter and light oak characters of partial barrel fermentation. We sometimes refer to Chardonnay Champagne as the wine lovers champagne, because it truly does bridge the gap between table wines and champagnes.
