Non-Vintage by Lucien Albrecht from Alsace, France - regions. Lucien Albrecht, Jean's father, pioneered Cremant production in 1971 and helped gain an Appellation Control?e for the wine and for Alsace. The wines vinified by the classic Champagne Method from 100% free run juice, are the best sparkling wines in France outside of Champagne itself. Recently Maison Lucien Albrecht was awarded four gold medals at a comprehensive National I.N.A.O. tasting of all sparkling wines in France, giving the firm more gold medals than any other Cremant producer in France. This Blanc de Blancs is made from 100% Pinot Blanc. The Blanc de Blancs is distinguished by a fine and elegant bead, a beautiful straw color; a light, delicate palate. It is delicious at any time of the day and with many foods. Non-Vintage by Scharffenberger from North Coast, California. Scharffenberger Brut is made by the traditional methode champenoise process - whereby the wines are individually bottle-fermented before being riddled and disgorged. The wine is approximately two-thirds Pinot Noir and one-third Chardonnay and undergoes 100% malolactic fermentation. Scharffenberger Brut is made from its own 120-acre vineyards in the Anderson Valley. In addition, Scharffenberger Cellars has long-term contracts with select vineyards in the greater Mendocino County. This type of vineyard selection allows us to choose from the best vineyards in the area which enables us to produce our trademark cuvee. The wine is two-thirds Pinot Noir which produces a red fruit (cherry and plum) forward nose combined with one-third Chardonnay which adds the tropical expression of litchi nut and mango. The 100% malolactic fermentation adds a vanilla cream character producing a round and full-bodied wine. After approximately two years on the yeast lees, there are notes of freshly baked bread and pastry that enhances the more fruit forward style of the wine. Finally, after several months on the cork the wine develops caramel and hazel complexors. Fresh aromas of butterscotch and croissant with yeasty, bakery notes. Bright peach and apricot flavors with a green apple tartness. Fresh, steely close with a mix of lemon drop and minerals. -Wine News

Non-Vintage by Korbel from California. Chardonnay Champagne captures the flavors of Chardonnay wine and combines it with the fun and sparkle of champagne. This cuvee captures the apple and pear fruit qualities of Chardonnay grapes, and blends in the butter and light oak characters of partial barrel fermentation. We sometimes refer to Chardonnay Champagne as the wine lovers champagne, because it truly does bridge the gap between table wines and champagnes.

Non-Vintage by Canella from Veneto, Italy. Brilliant straw yellow with fine, persistent perlage, fruity aromas of peach, apple, pear and citrus fruit, the palate gracefully balances zingy acidity and a subtle hint of sweetness, richness and silky-smooth texture.

Non-Vintage by Korbel from Russian River, California. Korbel Natural Champagne is all about the fruit of the Russian River Valley. We blend Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from our own estate vineyards with grapes grown in some of the best independently owned vineyards in the area. The result is a vintage cuvee based on just two varieties, from one region, yet often using a dozen or more vineyards, each of which brings its unique character to the blend.

Non-Vintage by Greg Norman Estates from Yarra Valley, Australia. The wine is a pale straw green in color and it has a very fine, yet persistent bead. On the nose there are lifted strawberry, citrus and nutty aromas with just a hint of sherbet character. On the palate it is a medium to full bodied style with generous stonefruit and citrus flavors and a very smooth, yet generous finish. Viticulture: This wine is a combination of chardonnay (57%) and pinot noir (43%) sourced from premium vineyards within the premier grape growing regions of Adelaide Hills, Langhorne Creek and McLaren Vale. The fruit was hand picked to ensure maximum control of natural freshness and retention of primary flavors.

Non-Vintage by Taltarni from Australia. Tache is a French word meaning 'stained', referring to the pale salmon colour of this enticing sparkling wine. The Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes are estate grown at Taltarni and Clover Hill, Tasmania. Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier are picked by hand and Chardonnay at night to retain freshness and acidity. Specially selected Pinot Noir or Malbec is added to 'tache' the wine after disgorgement, resulting in a zesty sparkling wine of rosy hue and a refined freshness. Disgorgement is after a minimum of 18 months on lees in its original bottle.

Non-Vintage by Montsarra from Spain. A pale, sparkling wine with lasting bubbles and a crisp finish. The bouquet is fruity and vigorous. Extremely refreshing: an ideal aperitif! This sprightly cava is made with a blend of three grape varieties - Macabeo, Xarello, and Parellada - all carefully selected fron the Montsarra vineyard in the Penedes region of Spain.

Non-Vintage by Gruet from New Mexico, US. The subtle fruity aromas and the freshness of the Demi-Sec drives the character of this light bodied, semi-dry sparkling wine. The palate carries through with a creamy sensation and vivid flavor of green apples, ripe pears, pineapple and a hint of mineral. It is delicate, lively and elegant!
