Red Wine by Golden Kaan from South Africa. This varietal is grown in a number of countries around the world and is also known in Europe as Syrah. The wine's bouquet suggests ripe berries with spicy flavors. The well integrated tannins make for easy drinking. A fine wine for classic roasts, great steaks and venison and soft cheeses.

Red Wine by Red Diamond from Columbia Valley, Washington. Blend: 95.5% Shiraz, 2.5% Viognier, 2% Grenache A juicy, fruit-forward Shiraz with a bit of floral spice, courtesy of a splash of co-fermented Viognier.

Red Wine by Marques de Riscal from Spain. Red with a pale purplish-violet hue which is darker at the heart of the bulb and red at the rim. Aroma of fresh fruit mingling with the subtle fragrance of the oak. On the palate, the general sensation is of smoothness, evolving gently towards the back of the palate with a moderately sharp bite and, below the tongue, this same sensation is combined with caramel.

Red Wine by Parducci from North Coast, California. Parducci 2004 Zinfandel offers lovely aromas of fresh blackberry and sweet cherry fruit with complexities of coffee, cocoa, black pepper and vanilla. Its flavors of savory berry and cherry are a great match for foods like burgers, roast chicken, sausages, steak, red sauced pasta and BBQ ribs.

Les Deux Rives is a blend of wines from the best vineyards of the Val d'Orbieu, the most acclaimed wine company in the Languedoc region of France. The name, Les Deux Rives, refers to the twin banks of the Canal du Midi built in 1600 by Louis XIV to help develop the economy of southern France and was one of the most important routes for transporting wines of the Languedoc-Roussillon to northern France, greater Europe and beyond. The label is inspired by a 1920s postcard of the Canal.

Red Wine by Antinori from Tuscany, Italy. 90% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot Ruby red colour with purple hues. Vibrant ripe fruit on the nose with nice floral hints. Well-structured, soft and harmonious. Sweet tannins and lingering fruit in the finish.

Red Wine by Ironstone from California. This classic Lodi Zin is produced from grapes hand selected from vineyards that are over 45 years old. These old vine vineyards produce grapes known for exceptionally concentrated fruit flavors and unprecedented depth. This Zinfandel's blackberry and dark fruit aroma is balanced well with its ripe plum and sweet berry flavors. To enhance the rich flavor characteristics, the wine was aged in French oak for 6 months. This medium-bodied wine has a smooth and unpretentious finish. Zinfandel wines have incredible depth and concentration of berry fruit flavors and spicy notes, so serve with herbaceous beef stews, grilled vegetables and red pepper pesto.

Red Wine by Mouton-Cadet from Bordeaux, France - Bordeaux. Color: Intense and brilliant dark cherry. Nose: Tightly packed and elegant, with complex aromas that pleasantly combine ripe stone fruit (cherry) with fresh berries, especially blackcurrant. Palate: A very smooth and full-bodied attack. Ripe fruit (cherry, blackcurrant) is immediately apparent, with powerful tannins. Remarkable overall balance. A generous and pleasant finish, sustained by attractively lingering flavors.

Red Wine by Bodega Norton from Argentina, South America. Deep red color, with violet hints. Sweet and spicy aromas reminiscent of black pepper. Good fruit and smooth, harmonious tannins.

Blend: 76% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc Eager to please with a friendly nose of sweet black cherries, anise and the perfume of iris blossoms. Boysenberry and pomegranate flavors dominate, with toasty and earthy notes fleshing out into a creamy mid-palate. The lingering, chalky finish is complemented by very fine and elegant tannins. Food pairings: This wine begs for spaghetti, pizza, lasagna and sharp cheeses with a little bite.
