Red Wine by Cheval des Andes from Argentina, South America. A joint venture between Terrazas de Los Andes and Chateau Cheval Blanc, this wine is a groundbreaking blend of legendary Bordeaux First Growth winemaking expertise with the very best terroir in Argentina. The result is a New World Grand Cru: refined, subtle and complex. Color: Deep black cherry with mauve glints on the rim. Aroma: Upon agitating, dried apricots and floral notes mix with warm scents of tobacco, red berry fruit macerated in brandy, cherry stones and homemade jam, together with cedar-wood, bay leaves and chocolate. Palate: Opens on the palate warm and balanced, with freshness and minerals coming through on the mid-palate, along with black currant, spices and almond. Highly integrated, sweet tannins mingle with a long and elegant finish.

CARO was born of the alliance between two wine cultures, French and Argentine; two noble grape varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec; and two renowned wine families, Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) and Nicolas Catena. Vignerons since the 19th century, these two powerful organizations have combined their deep knowledge of Mendoza's high altitude terroir and the art of winemaking to create a unique wine: CARO. Two cultures, two families, two varietals, one wine. Blend: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Malbec Beautiful, slightly purple color. Intense on the nose with ripe red and black fruit, a touch of mint with tobacco and vanilla aromas, and well-integrated oak. Rich and full-bodied, powerful and velvety with good aromatic complexity on the palate and good length. A rich, complex & balanced wine with ripe, juicy tannins.

Red and very ripe black fruit on the nose, with wood notes developing into classic vanilla, tobacco and cedar aromas. Rich, full-bodied, powerful and velvety with good aromatic complexity on the palate and good length. A rich, balanced wine with ripe and juicy tannins.

Red Wine by Felipe Rutini from Argentina, South America. The grapes are sourced from the Tupungato region of Mendoza, high in the Andes Mountains, at an elevation of 3,000 to 5,000 feet above sea-level. With its unique microclimate, Tupungato produces fruit with exceptional fruit and structure. The vineyards experience a range of temperature between daytime highs and night time lows. The warm sunny days allow for maximum radiation resulting in complex flavors and aromas. The cool night allow for an extended hang-time on the vines ensuring good balance of acidity. Aging takes place for 15 months in 100% new French oak. This blend of 53% Malbec and 47% Merlot is a full-bodied red with red fruit aromas of plums, cherries and strawberries, accompanied by vanilla, chocolate and tobacco. This well-structured wine is complex and fruity and will age well.
