Red Wine by Foppiano from Russian River, California. Foppiano Vineyards has been a family-owned winery since 1896. Petite Sirah is the hallmark wine from our Russian River Valley Estate. For this special Reserve bottling we selected the oldest Petite Sirah vines from our 2000 Millenium Harvest and allowed the fruit extra hang-time for maxiumum maturity. This richly extracted, aromatic wine with its lingering flavors and exceptional smoothness is a rewarding choice for cellaring and celebrating. Here's to the next century of Petite Sirah!

Red Wine by Stags Leap Winery from Napa Valley, California. Petite Syrah has long been a part of Stags' Leap Winery history. The 70-year old Petite Syrah vineyards located in front of the Manor House on the Estate's deep, rocky soils contribute to this blend, together with fruit from Stags' Leap's Petite Syrah partner growers up and down the Napa Valley. Each year, Winemaker Kevin Morrisey creates a wine that reflects the property's ongoing commitment to this varietal by combining this diversity into a classic and complex blend. Rich aromatics of ripe blueberry, blackberry, and cocoa together with a floral back note are the introduction to this expressive Petite Syrah. On the palate, ripe black fruit, espresso, spice and mocha commingle to create a luscious and balanced wine that features structured tannins and juicy, berry flavors to the end.

Red Wine by Rosenblum from Napa Valley, California. Blend: 80% Petite Sirah, 20% Carignane This Petite Sirah is bold, yet elegant. Bringing Carignane into the blend adds a broader and softer dimension to the finished wine, along with a hint of rose petal in the bouquet punctuated with currants, blackberry, pepper and earthy spice. The flavors are of ripe dense blackberries, hints of vanilla, currants, black olives, and exotic spices. While this wine should age from 12 to 20 years, don't miss the opportunity to experience it now. Pair this beauty with deep fried, spiced chicken livers or a roasted duckling stuffed with turnips.

Red Wine by Lolonis from North Coast, California. Creamy, black fruit aromas give way to more incisive, juicy, and coffee-laced flavors plus tooth-coating tannins in the mid-palate; best to age a few years or decant for current drinking. Viticulture Technique:Taking its name from the lyrical charmer in Greek Mythology, our Lolonis Orpheus entices with a blend of luscious Petite Sirah, softened by notes of Napa Gamay. Grapes in this wine were planted over half a century ago on the benchlands of Redwood Valley. We take special pride in these organically grown grapes and strive to produce a wine that is a living testament to our family's Heritage Vineyards.

Red Wine by Two Angels from North Coast, California. The 2005 Two Angels Petite Sirah is dark as the night and boasts savory aromas of dark berry, violets, pomegranate, tamarind and roasted game. Abundant fruit flavors are nicely integrated with toasted oak and roasted coffee undertones. What is especially alluring, given the dark color and ample, rich tannins, is the round, almost silky mouthfeel and the pleasing, lingering finish. Serve at room temperature with robust dishes, including beef, venison, turkey, game birds and semi-soft or hard cheeses.

Red Wine by Parducci from North Coast, California. Paul Dolan and the Thornhill family joined forces to buy Parducci in 2004, converting this old Mendocino winery into a thoroughly modern one. This petite takes Parducci into a new league. -Wines & Spirits

Red Wine by Vina Robles from Central Coast, California. Petite Sirah's are big intense wines and this one displays color of deep purple/black. It has intense aromas of dark berry fruits including notes of blueberry and plum as well as earth and pepper, complimented by vanilla and toasty oak. This is a full bodied wine with a juicy and concentrated palate of blackberryy, plum and blueberry fruit with a touch of spice and pepper. The finish is long and pleasant. A wonderful compliment to grilled meats.

Red Wine by Foppiano from Russian River, California. The 2004 Foppiano Vineyards Estate Petite Sirah was made entirely from estate Petite Sirah grapes, grown on the family's Russian River Valley Estate. It is full-bodied and deeply colored. In the nose, the Petite offers black fruit aromas, which are well met on the palate with black and blue berry flavors, as well as toasty vanilla, exotic spices, and hints of cocoa on the finish. Best served with red meat dishes, hearty pastas, full-flavored cheeses, roasted pork, or roasted wild boar.

Red Wine by Spellbound from California. Petite Sirah has been a favorite of ours for a long time. Once one of the most widely planted grapes in California, Petite Sirah is known for deep color, luscious mouthfeel and wild berry fragrance. Our 2003 definitely exemplifies the irresistible characteristics that are Petite Sirah. The purple color catches you immediately and your eyes begin to taste. Aromas of violets and roses jump out of the glass. Flavors of fresh berries along with mocha and coffee dance on your palate. A broad structure with integrated, delicate tannins, create a great mouthfeel and an unmistakable desire for the next sip.

Red Wine by Rosenblum from Central Coast, California. This rich, spicy Petite Sirah is produced from vineyards located on the foot of Mt. Diablo at the edge of the San Francisco Bay. This area has a rich history of quality grape production dating back more than 120 years. The vineyards are planted with two selections of Petite Sirah, both from 80 to 100 years old. The individual vineyards that encompass this wine all have their own aromatic and flavor profiles. Blended together, Rosenblum has created an incredible example of what Contra Costa can achieve with this varietal. This wine exhibits great color with a bouquet and flavors of ripe blackberries, plums, chocolate, black pepper, violets and spice. Contra Costa will soon be known as the Mecca for Petite Sirah. This wine is amazing both in aromatics and flavors, not to mention the color, which is jet black.

Red Wine by Concannon from Central Coast, California. Concannon Limited Release Petite Sirah is an intense wine with vibrant berry fruits and a rich, full palate. The wine starts with attractive aromas of ripe berries, creamy oak and a touch of spice. This Petite Sirah is full bodied, yet it has a firm and balanced structure with hints of toasty oak and vanilla on the palate. There's plenty to sink your teeth into now as the finish is quite lasting and memorable. Enjoy with wild game, teriyaki beef, herb-rubbed lamb or decadent dark chocolate.

Red Wine by Vinum Cellars from California. Petite Sirah is called Pets by veteran grape growers like Vinum Cellars' Ken Wilson. So this wine is dedicated to his pet - Tanker. Dark colored, long legged and bold, this wine has the potential of becoming your best friend. A portion of the profits from Pets will be donated to Vinum's local animal shelter, the San Francisco SPCA.
