Red Wine by La Vis from Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy. This wine is produced from Pinot Noir grapes grown on 20-year-old vines planted in well drained, sandy and gravelly alluvial soil. Pinot Noir is known as Pinot Nero in Italian. This wine has a ruby red core with aromas of red berry fruit that are echoed on the palate, along with hints of licorice, fennel and a touch of cinnamon. Medium-bodied and low in tannin, this wine pairs well with grilled tuna, swordfish and salmon. Also great with poultry, pork and many other foods.

Red Wine by Mirassou from California. The 2006 Mirassou California Pinot Noir displays intense flavors of strawberries, pomegranates, and cherries. These primary flavors are enhanced by secondary flavors of floral and spice characters. This wine is at its best if enjoyed within a year of release, but should be able to age in the bottle for up to three years.

Red Wine by Echelon from Central Coast, California. An intense ruby in color, Echelon Pinot Noir offers pretty aromas of cherries, cloves and rose petals, while sweet oak lingers in the background. On the palate, after a while, fruit and spicy aromas reappear, as at the beginning, on the nose. An easy-drinking wine, very complex and mild.
