The Cazes family name has long stood for vision and dedication to top-flight winemaking. Now, this internationally renowned winemaking family has set its sights on southern France, lured by the promise of the vineyards of Languedoc. After much searching, Cazes, with Lynch Bages' chief winemaker Daniel Llose, discovered an exceptional site on the terraces of La Liviniere and purchased a 370-acre property that enjoys the benefits of warm Mediterranean sunshine and the night time coolness of the Causse plateau. Cazes renamed the property L'Ostal Cazes.

Red Wine by Cuvee Mythique from Languedoc-Roussillon, France - regions. Beautiful strong purple color tinged with violet. The nose, associating aromas of black cherry and a touch of cacao, follows on when decanted with a suggestion of roast chestnuts. There is good length to the wine which is full and really luscious, with assertive but well-ripened tannins. Aromas of spice and plum mark an engaging finish. La Cuvee Mythique's distinctive label pays homage to the Romans, who planted its' varietals in France, and who believed the owl, la chouette, possessed mythical powers. La Cuvee Mythique was created by the Val d'Orbieu in 1990 to assert the incredible potential of the terroirs of the Languedoc-Roussillon.

Red Wine by Domaine Famille Ligneres from Languedoc-Roussillon, France - regions. A nose of spicy blackberries and black cherries with a hint of menthol and allspice. Seamless, concentrated, single-vineyard blend of Carignane, Mourvedre, and Syrah with fruit flavors of dark, ripe black cherries, mineral and spice. Blend: Carignan 60%, Mourvedre 25%, Syrah 15% Aric is local dialect for Alaric, King of the Visigoths who gave his name to the mountain whose slopes conceal the Ligneres fabulous terroir. The surname of a grandmother, a direct descendant of those Barbarian warriors, was Amalric, and a question still haunts the family today: had Alaric known that his mountain possessed such wonderful wine, would he have plundered Rome in 410 AD?

Red Wine by Domaine de Nizas from Languedoc-Roussillon, France - regions. This AOC Coteaux du Languedoc is the Domaine's flagship wine and expresses the essence of the terroir of Caux-Nizas. The Syrah has floral expression and medium body on our types of soil, whilst the Mourvedre tends to be fuller bodied with good structure and complexity, which has not ceased to add to the palate since its introduction into the blend in 2001. As for the Grenache, it brings superb generosity and softness to the wine. The oak aging of part of the wine to be included in the final blend in large barrels, aims to enhance the Mediterranean character of our wines without dominating it. Red Wine by Ey from Languedoc-Roussillon, France - regions. A deep ruby red color. An aromatic bouquet with scents of candied cherry, cocoa and mint. Full-bodied and well-knit, displaying red fruit flavors together with nuances chocolate and cedar. 35% Grenache, 35% Carignan, and 30% Syrah. Outstanding served with grilled meats, hearty stews and aged cheeses. Vigne Lavail is part of a collection of single-vineyard wines from the Roussillon, each carefully selected by the Ey (pronounced like the letter A) family. The Lavail vineyard is located in the village of Maury in southern France's Roussillon district. Nicolas Battle, winemaker, belongs in the vanguard of a dynamic new generation of enologists. Battle's viticultural philosophy embraces sustainable agriculture, which reduces the use of artificial fertilizers and pesticides to a minimal level. This environmentally friendly approach requires constant monitoring of the vineyard and care on a vine per vine basis.

His customers couldn't be impatient: it took him 22 hours at an average speed of 11km/h (6.8mph) to go from Alaric Mountain to Lourdes! And he announced his arrival with the Signal of the truck's characteristic horn.

Red Wine by Ch. Lamargue from Languedoc-Roussillon, France - regions. Blend: 60% Syrah, 30% Grenache Noir, 10% Mourvedre A bright ruby red color. The bouquet has an intense, fruit-forward nose with notes of licorice and dried fruit. Les Deux Rives is a blend of wines from the best vineyards of the Val d'Orbieu, the most acclaimed wine company in the Languedoc region of France. The name, Les Deux Rives, refers to the twin banks of the Canal du Midi built in 1600 by Louis XIV to help develop the economy of southern France and was one of the most important routes for transporting wines of the Languedoc-Roussillon to northern France, greater Europe and beyond. The label is inspired by a 1920s postcard of the Canal.
