Red Wine by Jean-Luc Colombo from Cotes du Rhone, France - Rhone. The wine is produced from vineyards on very steep slopes in the northern Rhone Valley. The soil is primarily composed of granite and limestone. 100% Syrah from 60-year-old vines. The wine is harmonious with an elegant structure. Typical aromas of violets, spices and liquorice. Appealing flavors of small ripe berry fruits (raspberries, blackberries and blueberries) and notes of liquorice and spices dominate on the finish.
