White Wine by Cloudy Bay from Marlborough, New Zealand. Mouth-watering aromas of passionfruit and lemongrass led with the spiciness of just-picked tomatoes tossed with fresh basil. Many small parcels of fruit, ripened under ideal conditions, bring layers of complexity to the 2007 Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc. The palate has exceptional richness, with ripe gooseberry flavours and a hint of fresh fennel leading to a powerful, crisp finish.

White Wine by Gusto from Marlborough, New Zealand. The wine is distinctly marked by flavors and aromas of passion fruit, lemon, grapefruit, and hints of fresh-mowed grass. It is bold without being aggressive and has a tremendous finish. It has significant body and complexity, and it speaks of the very essence of Sauvignon Blanc. This is the sixth vintage of Gusto Sauvignon Blanc. This wine is an excellent match for ceviche, tuna tartare, or spicy crab cakes.

Almost clear with a subtle green hue, the nose is classic Marlborough - passionfruit, generous tropical characters, a gentle touch of sweat, all underpinned with steely minerality. The palate is linear and long, chalky acidity, generous fruit and mineral characters combine to form a complete palate, layered and expressive. A delight to drink in its youth. A wonderful match when served with New Zealand green lipped mussels, served with a coriander broth lightly spiced with chili.

White Wine by Wairau River from Marlborough, New Zealand. Established in 1978, the Rose family estate vineyards are situated on the banks of the Wairau River. Low crops and ripe fruit produce wine that has become renowned for exhibiting intense fruit characteristics and classical elegance. The philosophy that we pursue has always been one of elegance and fruit power with the foundation of the style being drinkability. We put a lot of store in the selection of flavors in the vineyard, subsequent small batch vintning and the final touches of the marriage are created at the blending table. White Wine by Seresin from Marlborough, New Zealand. This Sauvignon Blanc displays passionfruit and herbaceous characters on the nose with a flinty mineral complexity. The mouth feel is finely textured with tropical fruit, ripe gooseberry, and citrus with a slight creaminess and persistent acidity to draw out the palate. Drinking well now, but suggest drinking in 18 months. It will develop well over the next seven years showing great concentration with truffle and caramel characters.

Sauvignon Blanc is grown in Spy Valley's Marlborough vineyard on stony riverbed terraces, gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks to give intense passionfruit and gooseberry fruit characters. The wine is fruit-driven in style, with complexity from lees aging for several months in stainless steel tanks before bottling. This wine is a classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc with intense flavors and crisp acid in a dry style. Color: Pale straw Bouquet: Passion fruit and ripe melon. Some underlying herbal notes and hints of mineral/flint. Palate: The brightness of pure fruit flavors shines through on the palate. The palate exhibits the same fine fruit flavors with an underlying flinty note typical of Awatere Valley fruit. The finish is crisp and dry. This Sauvignon Blanc is ready to drink now, and over the next 2 years.

White Wine by Nautilus from Marlborough, New Zealand. Pale straw with green tinges and has aromas of melon, lime, gooseberry and passionfruit. The palate shows tropical fruit flavors with hints of red capsicum and nettle. The wine has a rich mid palate with good weight and texture and a typical zingy finish. Delicious now, this wine will continue to develop over the next six to twelve months.
